GOPIO FRANCE & Handbook – Indians in France
The EU-India Common Agenda for Migration and Mobility was endorsed by the two governments in 2016.
Under the EU-India CAMM technical support project, the ILO has prepared a handbook for the Integration of Indians in France. This handbook has been prepared with an aim to assist migrants who are living in France to integrate successfully.
It begins by providing basic information on the documentation needed to stay in the country and provides preliminary orientation on how to access basic services like health, education, employment, housing, social security, family needs and transportation.
It also provides information on whom to contact in case of emergency and possibility of return for those who may be in an irregular situation.
