GOPIO France -COVID 19 – FOOD DISTRIBUTION IN MUMBAI
MESSAGE OF President GOPIO France: Vikas Talwar who handled the distibutions of food in Mumbai:
Dear GOPIO Family,
I would like to inform you that my wife Inamika & myself, Vikas Talwar along with a Team of COVID Warriors organized and distributed Food to the needy people in the slums and streets of Mumbai & Navi Mumbai during this ongoing COViD 2019 pandemic in India.Food was distributed from 20th June to 24th June in Mumbai slums and Navi Mumbai streets to more than 500 people.
Special Thanks to Dr. Ezhil Anand (GOPIO UK London), Mehen Poinoosawmy (GOPIO Europe), Dhiraj (GOPIO Delhi), GOPIO France Team, GOPIO International Team & Friends who contributed for this noble cause.
I would also like to thank our COVID Warriors Team who went to the slums and streets risking their personal lives to help people in need.It gives me utmost satisfaction to bring happiness and see the smiles on the faces of the People & Children after getting food.
I hope that we will have more such initiatives in future to serve the needy as well as COVID Warriors in our Motherland.
