GOPIO France -COVID 19 – DISTRIBUTION OF RATION KITS IN CHENNAI & DELHI
The lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic has thrown the livelihoods of lakhs of Indians into a chaotic twister. Daily wagers, footpath vendors, migrant workers have all had their only source of income snuffed out and thus lost their livelihoods.
GOPIO France asssociated with YIBN & GOPIO UK have recently launched a contribution for helps.
Hundreds of ration kits were distributed locally by our GOPIO Delhi and Chennai chapters to poor families. Assistant Commisionner of Police of Chennai participated and helped in making the distribuion possible.
“Serving Local to Global” is the motto of GOPIO, which with its Global service networks is very helpful on many occasions.
